For the last two weeks the students have begun to watch the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly. In our classroom we have live caterpillars that we are raising. At this time the caterpillars have gone from young caterpillars to tripling in size into FAT caterpillars.

Pretty soon the caterpillars will go through an amazing change and hang from the ceiling of the container and start to transform into a CHRYSALIS!
