Little Green Thumbs Presentation

Today Heather and Sarah from the Little Green /thumbs organization visited our classrooms. We have been growing plants in our rooms 
but how do farmers produce all of food that we eat

In Canada, farmers have a limited growing period when plants must grow, 
mature and be harvested before the first frosts

 

Our student farmers quickly harvested peas from pods 
before they had to stop because of falling temperatures and frost.
