Today the students worked in math using base ten blocks in order to create shapes and objects. 

The students then had to calculate how many base ten blocks they used in order to make their shape. Students used their knowledge of counting by 10's and addition to complete the task.

Built a house and calculated that it was 12 tens blocks which is 120 ones

Some students also represented hundreds blocks
