Today was the 100th day of school!

The students participated in several activities using addition, counting, exercise, patience, science and art all working with 100.

First we read a non fiction story on a class that celebrated the 100th day of school.
Next the students showed great patience by attempting to stay completely silent for 100 seconds.

The students then got in some exercise by doing jumping jacks for 100 seconds.

Next the students were given the task of selling 100 donuts to customers. There were several answers to solve the question!

Counting by ones: One donut per customer.

Counting by 20: 5 customers buy 20 donuts

Counting by 10: 10 customers get 10 donuts

Counting by twos

and more...

Finally we celebrated the 100th day of school by mixing primary colors (red, yellow, blue) and creating a 100 hand print collage!
