                                                             Our Swimming Lessons

This week we have been reading the Swimming Lessons by Betsy Jay. In this story, Jane's mother has enrolled her in swimming lessons but she is afraid of going into the pool. Before taking her first lesson, she gives a number of excuses in order to avoid getting into the water. In the ned, she deciders to jump into the pool and finds that she likes being in the water. she even helps another little girl brave the pool for the first time.

An inspirational story for students who may feel a little hesitant to be in the pool.

This week, students have written about their experience at the pool.

How do you get ready for swimming in the pool?
