This week the grade one and two students explored and learned different math concepts by experimenting with different math centers. 

Students came in from their break and knew to go with their assigned group to a specific math center indicated on the whiteboard.

The centers allow children to explore various concepts such as:

1. balancing equal/unequal amounts on a scale

2. sorting blocks, shapes and objects

3. counting by 2, 3, 5, 10 on a 100's chart

4. Addition with dice

5. Building patterns
