Today was the first day of our free hot soup program. Students were able to enjoy a small bowl of Beef Rice soup. Please note, we do not know what kind of soup we are receiving, until it arrives on Tuesday and Thursday morning. Please discuss with your child, what soup options they would like to eat. The options are
- Beef Rice
- Beef Noodle
- Chicken Noodle
- Chicken Rice
- Vegetable
We are very grateful to be part of this program. We noticed today that some students didn't bring a big enough lunch. Though the soup can often be very filling, we still would like students to bring a lunch as the soup is only to add to their lunch, not replace it.
A message from Mrs. Sagness!
If you wish for your child to participate in choir, please sign the form that came home today. If you child did not receive a form, but is interested, please ask them to talk to their teacher and they will be given a form tomorrow.
All forms need to be signed and return by Oct 14!
Newsletter
Also coming home today, is the October newsletter and Calendar. The virtue for the month of October is Curiosity. Curiosity is the desire to learn or know more about something or someone. We will discuss this virtue throughout the month. Please ask your child, what does curiosity mean? How can you show your curiosity at home and school?An online link to the newsletter will become available tomorrow.

October 13 - School council meeting @ 6:30 - all parents welcome
