Today the students were able to take the plants we had been growing in the classroom and plant them in our school garden!

Students planted vegetables such as:

Cucumbers

Tomatoes

Basil

Snap Peas

Lettuce

Carrots

Students learned the importance of caring for plants in both a controlled setting and outdoors.

We discussed how transferring plants from a humidity dome to the garden is a form of Transplanting!

We recorded our planting process in our My Little Green Thumbs Journal
