Today, Ms. Rikki,  a local community member, spoke to our students about the
upcoming planting and growing season with the community garden

Our students will be growing some small seedlings to transplant into the garden later in May.
Please ask your child to name some of the plants that they plan to grow in the garden.

Some strawberry plants have already sprouted up though the surface of the soil.
Students found a tiny ladybug and Ms. Rikki palaces it in the strawberry patch.

In a few weeks, we will be reporting on some of the  events that will take place at
 the Vista Heights Community Garden.

We hope that your family can participate.
