This week the students are learning about how light passes through different thicknesses and colors of liquids. 

The students compared several liquids such as dish soap, syrup, pizza sauce, fruit punch and cream.

They analyzed the smell, sight, feel (through a bag) and whether or not light passed through the liquid

The terms we used to describe the liquid were:

Opaque: allows no light through 

Translucent: allows some light through

Transparent: allows all light through
