Today the students worked out several ways of making 12!

They built upon the strategies they used in making 10 through addition from the past lessons.

The students began transforming their ways of making ten into addition stories in which they drew an illustration of their way to make ten and wrote sentences about their story.

We will be making a book called 17 ways to make 12!
