In addition to the opportunity of reading books through RAZ Kids, students will be bringing home a plastic folder with a book to share with you.

For our young, beginning readers these books are matched with their approximate reading level and provide an appropriate text for oral reading. This reading is intended to build enjoyment and confidence in their reading ability, as well as, increase their reading vocabulary, fluency, expressiveness and comprehension.

Inside the plastic folder, please find a list of ways in which you can provides questions which help your child focus on reading strategies.

When the folder and book has been returned, we will promptly provide your child with another story to share. Thank you for your support in developing our community of readers!

Last week, students brought  home a consent form for a 'Fluoride Varnish' application.

If you would like your child to receive this free service from Alberta Health Services,
please complete the form and return
