As part of our social studies curriculum, students in grade 1/2 have been exploring themselves and what makes them unique. To get to know themselves, and each other better, students filled out some questions about themselves. 

We then created mini backpacks. These backpacks are coming home today. Please take a moment to have your child read their questions and answers to you. 

FOR HOMEWORK: students are to gather 3-5 small things that are important to them and put them in the All About Me bag provided. Please do not send valuable or irreplaceable items. Instead, students can draw pictures, or include pictures of these things.

Here are the two questions students will be asked when presenting the items in their bags.

1. What is this item?

2. Why is this important to you?

Please discuss each items significance with your child. 

We look forward to seeing all the important things in the next few days. Please support your child by completing this homework by Thursday October 8, so they can present to their classmates over the next two days.
